Oh yes, we sure do enjoy putting the fun in disfunction! Now, don’t get me wrong, I love my family. But let’s face it, they have issues. Oh sure, I can pretend that my genes aren’t the same as theirs. And yes, I can pretend that I don’t have my own issues. But when you put all of us in one room…well, it makes me thankful for alcohol and the forgiving powers of a certain husband of mine.
On the “let me be thankful” side, I did get free babysitting today while Kidlet Sr., Clint and I went to see LOTR: Return of the King. OHMYGOD I loved it. And I didn’t even have to get up and pee at all, thankyouverymuch. I figure if Judy can do, so can I! (I don’t have twins tap-dancing on my bladder!) I have much to say on the movie, but I am on a dial up, sitting on Little Diva’s roll-away bed with Strawberry Shortcake playing 2 inches from my head while trying to balance a keyboard on my lap. In short, I am just not that patient!
Hopefully, I will be able to check in tomorrow. It just won’t do to miss my blog fix. Nope. It just won’t do at all!
