For the record, I would like to say that insomnia sucks.

I have been lying in my bed since midnight. Four hours later, I decided to get up and at least surf the net. (By the way, I really need to find some more blogs that are updated in the middle of the night. C’mon people, what are you doing, sleeping or something?)

Nights like this I miss my sweet little addictive sleeping pills. Ahhhh, they were sweet dreams in a little white package. Of course, they were great when “taken as directed”. Yep, that whole “take as directed” thing is the kicker for a drug addict. Never quite saw the point. I mean, if one works good, two would really work so much better. Well, you get the point.

So for now, I have nights like this. *yawn* And days like later today will become. (I’ll just go ahead and get this over with….”Sorry, sweetie, that I have been such a monster today. I’m just really tired.” There. Maybe that will serve as both a forewarning and an apology.)

Well, I hear that there is an awesome apple cherry pie waiting for me in the kitchen. And we all know…calories don’t count in the middle of the night!
