Have you ever had one of those days where you wake up and your first thought is not “Ohhhh what a beautiful morrnnnning!” but rather “I can’t.”
Can’t face another load of laundry.
Can’t face another sink of dirty dishes.
Can’t face another day of overwhelming clutter.
Can’t face another day of tears.
Can’t face another argument over whose turn it is to take our the trash.
Can’t face the mood swings of others.
Can’t face another having to cook another meal.
Can’t face paying bills again.
But you do.
You shrug it off. Square your shoulders and dig in. Because that is what you do. That is what you are supposed to do. That is living. And there are days it is hard. Days you just want to say NO.
I am having one of those days.
Do you? Do you ever have one of those days? I am sorry if you are having one, too. So sorry. They hurt. They make you feel lost and frustrated with everyone. If you aren’t in that place, do me a favor. Go tell someone you love that you love them and thank them for what they do in your life. It just may prevent them from having one of those days.
