I had this sent to me by a friend of mine (who might not want to be named but she knows who she is) and thought it was awesome enough to share with you. I know for sure I have probably said most if not all of these things. I know for sure I heard these things! What about you? Sound familiar?
Enjoy!
“Everything a mom says in 24 hours condensed to 2 minutes and 55 seconds and sung to the William Tell Overture. Every mom does this same “song – just probably not quite this fast.”
Edited to add for those of you who have asked: The singer is Anita Renfroe. Amazing woman. The lyrics to this are here.

I have watched this 100x. In fact, I almost bought the videoa few months ago the first time I saw it. I want to learn it and do it for a talent show somewhere just because.

OMG…this is perfect. I am going to make this required watching for my 12 year old tonight.
I also want to learn it/memorize it and do it for my children. Too fun.

I got a link to that in an email…hilarious. I’ve said pretty much all of it.
I love Anita Renfroe! I saw her at a conference in Cleveland this summer.. I have her book “If It’s Not One Thing, It’s Your Mother.”
You should see her parody video of Faith Hill’s ‘I Can Feel You Breathe!’

Why does this make me cry every time I hear it?

Going straight home from work and instead of saying all the same things I am going to play this clip! P.S. It made me cry too.
Excellent! Where can we obtain the lyrics? Thanks. Carl & Fran
Charles and Carl, you will notice I have a link on this entry to an entry with the lyrics. Soooo, you can find them here. π
I love this, but I’d love to see one compiling the crazy things we have to say to four kids under seven. ie. “no swinging bats in the house, stop swishing your hands in the toilet, use your words not your teeth…I feel like the mommy uniform should be that black and white referee suit. Oh the joy!
Does anyone know how I can get the music version without the lyrics because it is a slowed-down William Tell Overture

I am twelve years old and my home schooling friends and I love this song. WE have most of it memorized.
Does anyone know where to get the exact version of the William Tell Overture that Anita uses? I’ve downloaded a couple and they have an extra section in the song that Anita does not use. I’m planning to do this song at a Variety Show on New Year’s Eve and am looking for the exact version to download before then.
Thanks!
